GET EXCEPTIONAL DATA IN ANY SEA STATE

A towed body which decouples ship movement from the towfish.

An improved towing system for sidescan systems, ensuring excellent data in virtually any sea state

  • Substantial cost savings are available when surveys are not weather dependent
  • Time critical surveys are not postponed by weather conditions
  • Survey operations have been conducted in up to Beaufort Force 9 conditions
  • Ship motion is decoupled from the towfish
  • Towfish stability is substantially improved in all sea states
  • Data quality does not deteriorate as sea state increases
  • Equipment damage is reduced as a slight positive buoyancy keeps the fish above the depressor
  • Deployment and recovery simple and straight forward
  • Available in shallow (<200m) and deep water (6000m) configurations
  • Deployable from any size vessel
  • Cable depressors available
