This medium-lift, untethered lander provides a greater capacity for benthic sensing and sampling. The vehicle is hand deployable using a slide ramp. Extended bottom times are possible. The BL-130 carries custom or commercial payloads, including Seabird MicroSeaCAT, MBARI Open Source SeeStar camera and lighting system, OpenCTD, baited traps, or drop arms Release options include the Edgetech BART acoustic release board.
