With its internal battery power, the Modem can operate in standby mode for approximately 30 days, always ready to receive signals. When transmitting with an update rate of 1 transmission every 2 seconds, the Modem will run for about 7 days.
When the Modem is connected to an external power source, the Modem’s internal batteries act as a backup to ensure uninterrupted operation in case of power loss. The Modem offers robust spread spectrum low data-rate transmission, packed in a compact and cost-effective unit, with a communication range of up to 500m horizontally and 150m vertically.
Configuring the Modem for specific needs is effortless with the Tritech Genesis Software, allowing it to function as a data modem, transponder, or responder. The rotary selector on the Modem enables the selection of one of the 16 transponder IDs, providing flexibility in operations.
