FOAM – Vessel Underway Water Monitoring System
The FOAM is designed for vessel underway towed water quality monitoring and sampling. The design incorporates a stabilized underwater tow sled with a custom hose/data cable, sheave, winch, and surface sampling pump. The system can be towed to depths up to 30 meters or greater depending on field conditions and can be utilized with a series of sensors both subsurface and on the vessel deck.
