Portable Sediment Imaging Camera – Rental

Since 1974 Ocean Instruments has built numerous sediment profiling cameras for seafloor research. The portable sediment profile camera is designed to be used in either a frame or placed in the sediment using a push pole. The camera images the top 10 cm of the seabed. The portable system is operable to depths of 200 meters remotely in a frame or to 5 meters with a real-time live view by push pole. The unit takes both still shots and video and can be programmed prior to deployment.
