Net Repairer Tool
Breaches in netpens or pred nets can be catastrophic to an aquaculture site. Using the Net Patch tool, Deep Trekker ROVs can place a temporary patch over the hole in minutes, without having to implement a dive team.
The Net Repairer tool mounts to the top and bottom of the DTG2 or DTG3 and holds the patch with arms out in front of the ROV. The motor on the bottom is plugged into the Grabber port. Using the actuator on the bottom arm, you can reduce tension on the net to position the mesh, then disengage to leave the patch in place. Deep Trekker provides the mounts and the deployment kit, the customer provides the netting itself, so you can match the net material of your farm’s net.
