1. Can obtain a copy of the Calibration Certificate for my Bathymetric system?

To request a copy of the Calibration Certificate for your Bathymetric system, please contact Tritech’s Customer Support Team at (858) 454-4044 (option 2) or email brock@o-vations.com. Kindly provide the complete serial number of your Bathymetric system (e.g. S03690.987654), and they will promptly send you an electronic copy of the original or last known calibration, as performed by our in-house calibration facility.

2. What does it mean if my device shows as “UNKNOWN” in Seanet Setup?

If your device appears as “UNKNOWN” in Seanet Setup, it is often due to a missing RS232 ground connection. Please check for continuity on the copper sections between each end of the cable. If the continuity is not established, it may indicate a RS485 device connected to an RS232 port.For further assistance in resolving this issue, please refer to the “Serial Port Connection and Setup” document (Rev 1), which provides detailed instructions on sorting out the basics of serial port connections.
