The SeaKing Hammerhead leads the way in sonar technology with its advanced features, including high-resolution 360º mechanical scanning imaging capabilities.
Experience the cutting-edge capabilities of the SeaKing Hammerhead, a leading sonar system that leverages advanced technology to deliver exceptional image quality. With its wide transducer aperture, fine mechanical step size, and proven Digital Sonar Technology (DST), the SeaKing Hammerhead ensures outstanding image resolution.
Equipped with two frequencies, the SeaKing Hammerhead expands its operational range. The high chirped 935 kHz frequency enables high-resolution imagery, while the second chirped frequency of 675 kHz allows for long-range capability. The wide transducer design ensures the creation of fo a narrow horizontal beam on both frequencies, enhancing image resolution to a new level.
To provide users with precise positioning information, the SeaKing Hammerhead features a built-in attitude sensor, making it ideal for tripod deployment. Additionally, the integrated three-axis compass continuously displays and updates the sonar image bearing, offering a clear indication of the unit’s position relative to the seabed.
The SeaKing range of mechanical imaging sonars includes the Super SeaKing, Super SeaPrince, Micron Sonar, and SeaKing Hammerhead. All products within the SeaKing family, as well as third-party products within the ArcNet communications link, can be operated simultaneously, using the same processor and display, such as the Surface Control Unit (SCU) or a customer-supplied PC or laptop.
*Please note: The SeaKing Hammerhead is available as both a standalone sonar and a complete survey package, which includes a top box and deployment tripod, providing a comprehensive solution for your survey needs.
